Ned is a nationally-known innovator in machine vision solutions and the inventor of the popular and widely installed Sherlock industrial machine vision software, now distributed by DALSA.
A graduate of Princeton University and the University of Vermont, Ned began his career at Control Automation, Inc. and quickly moved onto starting his own business, Intelec Corporation. Since selling that company to Imaging Technology, Ned has had a wide range of engineering experience at start-ups like MTI MicroFuel Cells, equipment manufacturers like Simmons Machine Tool, and global corporations such as GE Global Research where he was a senior engineer. Ned has also taught Electrical Engineering at the college and graduate level, lectures extensively, and authors articles on software design, algorithms, imaging, embedded systems, and machine vision. He has also developed graduate-level courses in machine vision, neural network-based control, and FPGA-based systems engineering. He is a member of the AIA and the IEEE.

Laurel Saville has more than 25 years experience in corporate communications, copywriting, marketing, and branding for corporations, non-profit organizations and start-ups. She has worked on both the client and agency side and as freelance consultant. At Lecky Integration, she is responsible for helping keep clients and prospective clients informed about new developments, industry trends and other information of value to achieving their strategic business goals. She has an undergraduate degree in English Literature, with honors, from New York University and an MFA in Creative Writing and Literature from the Writing Seminars at Bennington College.

Matt Denoncour has worked in developing alternative energy electronics for more than six years, with a specific concentration inembedded electronics, including hardware, algorithms, firmware, and software design. He is also a specialist in developing highly efficient DC-DC converters. A graduate of RPI with a dual degree in electrical and biomedical engineering, Matt is also an active outdoorsman who mountain bikes, snowboards, Nordic skis, rock climbs, scuba dives and performs poi and spit fire with that old school energy source, fire.

He has developed secondary education search engines, inventory tracking systems, and industrial automation and control systems. Chris received his BS in Computer Science from Allegheny College.
