Ned Lecky Ned Lecky

Ned Lecky, PhD

Ned is a nationally-known innovator in machine vision solutions and the inventor of the popular and widely installed Sherlock industrial machine vision software, now distributed by DALSA. At Lecky Integration, he is our chief technical leader and guru, as well as president and irrepressible jokester.

A graduate of Princeton University and the University of Vermont, Ned began his career at Control Automation, Inc. and quickly moved onto starting his own business, Intelec Corporation. Since selling that company to Imaging Technology, Ned has been a college professor, developed graduate-level courses, worked a range of companies from alternative energy start-ups to GE Global Research, and authored many articles on software design, algorithms, imaging, embedded systems, and machine vision.

In his very limited spare time, he plays piano and composes music, hikes in the Adirondacks, mountain bikes, and reads current events and history.

He is a member of the Automated Imaging Association (AIA), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, (ASME), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Keith Morgado Keith Morgado

Keith Morgado

Keith graduated from Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL with a BS in Game Development and immediately began developing his own video game design company. Keith's background in game development complements his current work in machine vision: in the past, he created images and gave them intelligence, and at Lecky Integration he'll pull intelligence from images taken by cameras. In Keith's opinion, either way, he's still analyzing millions of pixels on a screen. Drawing on 7 years of programming experience, Keith also adds expertise in C++, Web Development, and User Interface Design to the Lecky team. Information and a free demo of Turba, a puzzle rhythm game and his first commercial project, can be found at www.turbagame.com.

A native of Boston, MA, in his spare time Keith can be found snowboarding all over the Northeast, honing his photography skills, and maintaining his website (www.keithmorgado.com).

Dustin Holtz

Dustin Holtz

Dustin is skilled in machine vision algorithm implementation and spends his time at Lecky Integration working on camera interface software. A graduate of Full Sail University with a bachelor’s degree in Game Development, Dustin has experience programming in a variety of code languages and excels in software architecture.

Outside of the office you can find Dustin trying to involve himself in any outdoors activity he comes across; yet, he finds himself more often than not gregariously meandering about society in an attempt to make sense of this place we call home.

Timothy Clark Timothy Clark

Timothy Clark

Tim is a mathematician and college professor who also bends his brain to creating advanced algorithms that help the coders at Lecky improve our optical character recognition capabilities. Mathematically, he is interested in commutative algebra, combinatorics and topology. Pedagogically, he is interested in helping students rid themselves of preconceived notions of mathematics and presenting mathematics as a vibrant subject for the intellectually and philosophically curious. In addition to these arcane pursuits, Tim also enjoys more earthly pleasures such as brewing beer, expanding his barbecue repertoire, refining his baking skills, and participating in sports.
